What a turnout in Welland! A full parking lot, an excited community, and a tremendous start for Longo’s 44th location, with many members of the Plaza team on site to support our tenant!

We are proud to celebrate the grand opening of Longo’s (a Sobeys company) at our new development in Welland, Ontario. Seeing the site come to life is especially meaningful after years of planning, hard work and collaboration between the Plaza REIT team, the Castlefield Avenue Realty (Longo’s Family), the City of Welland, and the many partners and tenants involved in the project.

Longo’s is the cornerstone of what will become an exceptional new grocery-anchored retail destination for the community. Dollarama is scheduled to open on June 25, with several additional retailers to follow in the months ahead.
